"The Duel" is coming to Halo Waypoint This Saturday!
Brace Yourselves for a Clash of the Elites in the Second “Halo Legends” Preview Episode, “The Duel”
Fans around the world received an exclusive introduction to the “Halo” anime series with the first episode, “The Babysitter” on Nov. 7 – now 343 Industries is giving fans even more. The “Halo Legends” saga continues with a duel for redemption. Available only for 24 hours, the second installment in the series, “The Duel,” hits Halo Waypoint this Saturday, Nov. 21. Tune in to Halo Waypoint via Xbox LIVE to watch the full-episode preview of “The Duel,” and check back for all upcoming “Halo Legends” programming.
The episode will explore the fictional depths of the “Halo” universe, giving fans a rare glimpse at the history from the point of view of their second-favorite protagonist in the “Halo” franchise. Stylistically, the episode introduces “Halo Legends” to the classic water color anime style, allowing the artists at Production I.G to venture on an original path to tell the captivating “Halo” lore.
As a reminder, this week’s 24-hour streaming episode is the final chance for Xbox LIVE Silver members to access Halo Waypoint and see the exclusive previews before the service becomes a Gold-only experience. As of November 27, 2009 Halo Waypoint will be available to Xbox LIVE Gold members exclusively.
