I don't think you:
- revive the Didact through Bornstellar - Introduce the Precusors with an obvious bent of pitting the Forerunners against the humans - Describe the near extinction of humans at the hands of the Didact - Keep the potential of the Forerunners to return via 'shield worlds' - and introduce Forerunners that were ruthless and borderline blood thirsty (i.e. the Master Builder)
and then rule a Forerunner threat OUT as being an opponent.
Keep in mind that there are THREE games coming (plus books). Remember in Halo 1 where the covenant army and the flood were the worst you could imagine going up against? Nevermind the Prophets and the Gravemind that were introduced later that forced you to team up with the Arbiter, of all entities.
If 343 does this right, Halo 6 should be a cataclysmic clash of humans, forerunners, elites the precursors and the flood (if they aren't one in the same).

If someone came up to me and told me that they got into a fight with my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather and that as a result that fight got him canned from his job as an architect and forced him and all his children to take up jobs as janitors instead I would check to see if they were on drugs. Ever heard of people who want reparations? Just a thought.

A lot of times during our game nights, we get forced into playing customs because we have too many players for any regular MM playlist. We also have days where members host a game night based on a specific game type, so you could even hold your own 'customs only' night. We have a few forgers in the group so it's not unlikely that you might just find someone who likes to build the types of maps you like to play. (I've got an idea on an Invasion map that I need to start working on, myself.)
There are over 45 members registered on our site and their participation ranges from heavy activity to moderate. Our membership also ranges from back in January to those who just joined in the past few days.
Feel free to ask any other questions or go ahead and join and find out for yourself!

I just spent a bunch of time handing out medals for team challenges that members have completed. Everything from Halo game completion to skunking other teams in Invasion to individual performance to post counts on our forums.
Want to be a part of a team like ours? Post here, send me a PM or join our site. We look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!

The problem with communism/socialism/marxism is that you always run out of OTHER peoples' money to work with.

Agreed with ISA343...
That being said, it would be interesting to see the Chief in a mansion full of artificially enhanced... oh, that already happened with the Hef.

No spoilers from me:
It was kind of slow at first (cryptum was too, but this one took longer), but this book is really good so far. It focuses on the human side of the Forerunner saga (Chakas and maybe Riser?)
Do you have the ability to buy it on nook? It's a STEAL on that, it's worth it in real life.
I think most of the critics are used to the Spartans being in the middle of a war. These books aren't all action. These books bring you up to speed on why the action happened / will happen.
EDIT: Ever wonder why everyone thought Empire Strikes Back was the worst Star Wars but the other two couldn't stand without it? This series is a TRILOGY to be completed after Halo 4 drops according to what I know.

Knowing the type of mentality that the II's had toward carrying out their duty and 'winning' and knowing that the III's were trained by a II...
I have a REAL hard time believing that a single Spartan wouldn't JUMP at the opportunity to enhance their abilities further and be able to accomplish more in the war effort.

Don't speed ahead! This is the Cryptum forum!! LOL
It's not a far stretch to believe that. If the Librarian has the ability to capture memories (at the bare minimum) of an entity and 'apply' them to a new entity to slowly unfold to give that entity increased experience/awareness/knowledge... Why couldn't forerunner tech create a monitor or AI with the memories of one? After all, their 'maturation' seems based on that - one passing on genetic memory to the next.
And Iron... if you haven't, read Ghosts of Onyx. Amazing insight to forerunner tech.
Fun idea: What if the shield worlds not only bent time/space to be larger than their actual size, but they were all connected???
