Hey guys, by now were all familiar with the TU Vs Default in TS now, it's being voted on in game. Pretty straightforward, yup.


There is a problem though.


The maps and gametype variants aren't the counterpart to the other option. Here, look at this:


It SHOULD be...


DMR Team Slayer
Swordbase


TU DMR Team Slayer
Swordbase



This OCCASIONALLY happens, not a lot though. Instead you end up with stuff like this...


Elite Slayer
Arena Zealot


TU DMR Team Slayer
Think Twice



Honestly, unless the whole lobby is having a party at their house and doesn't give a crap, no one is going to go with the first option. More so now that TU activists who claim to be more competitive than vanilla supporters are in the playlist now. They'd never want that first option.




I propose a simple solution. Have the correct counterpart gametypes on the same map, also better yet, have None Of The Above option be able to be used TWICE.

I thought this as well I mean it's pretty stupid people are going to be voting for the gametype not the Vanilla/TU settings.

Some people don't like DMR slayer, I don't understand why and I personally would prefer the system you're suggesting but 343 are trying not to rule anyone out

I don't think he is suggesting all the gametypes are DMR slayer, but that the only difference between the gametypes are TU and non-TU. For example:

Slayer DMRS & TU Slayer DMRs

or

Elite Slayer & TU Elite Slayer

or

Slayer Pro & TU Slayer Pro
