It's unlikely it meant armour, unless 343i want to surprise us, I'm not willing to download a 7GB patch.

Can anybody explain why it would take '7GB'? I know it would take up a lot, but I doubt it would be more then, say 12 DLC map. Which took up nothing to me.

But on the other side, while the armour would have to be programmed into all MM maps, people forget campaign. Wouldn't it need an update to work with the campaign too?

P.S. Where did you hear of this, OP? You've got me a teeny bit excited.

This is eluding to the fact that you have a chance to earn a 50,000cr jackpot in team slayer, thus allowing you to buy armour as long as you are not at 100% armory completion.

Amateur modders would give us a 7GB patch but it's unrealistic to believe that this is the size of download needed.

yeah, what halozombiereaper said. Some ppl that aren't midway thru the Eclipse rank yet (the rank you will be at when you complete the entire Armory, I'm not counting Haunted mask) and are saving up for the big purchases will get the extra shot in the arm for playing and participating in their unofficial survey for TU vs. Vanilla in Team Slayer.

Incidentally I hit the 50,000 cR jackpot (which is a secret jackpot apparently) twice last night. The second time I hit it, I also hit a 32,000 + jackpot at the same time! I jumped up 270K cR on the night apparently. Anybody know how long their 'survey' is going for?

Forget the Campaign...How about the armor permutation for all of the playlist, and every map, including those Anniversary Maps linked to reach MM.

It would now be something like 12+gb download to make it so there would be 'new armor' for everyone....OP, and others, are hoping and wishing too much, as the update was clearly talking about the Team Slayer cR Jackpot

Armor wont happen, its impossible to do. if they did do it, then you would have re download EVERY map in the game for it to work, due to the fact that all the armor in this game is hard coded into all of the maps.

Hmmmm, I gotta assume it is armor related, perhaps a new armor effect? Guess I will just have to wait and see 0.0

New armour certainly is impossible to do, its just that most people wouldn't be willing to download a patch that big. And it would be very big indeed.

If you consider the wording of that quote, it sounds like more credits to me. It reads "a little something extra to spend in the armory this week." It doesn't read "spend on" so I don't think it's something being added to the armory.
